Hyacinth Douglas – Intake Supervisor

Hyacinth holds master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Troy State University. She obtained a certificate in local government from the Carl Vision Institute, a system of the University of Georgia. She has over 20 years of experience working with at risk youth, both directly and indirectly.

Hyacinth is an advisory board member for Criminal Justice Department at Georgia Piedmont Technical College, formerly DeKalb Technical College and a past president of the Juvenile Court Association of Georgia (JCAG).

Hyacinth is the Youth Development Coordinator for Netball America and the USA Assistant Coach at the World University Netball Games in Uganda – 2018. She worked closely with DeKalb County Park and Recreation Department to develop the “Winter Youth Netball Program”, since then over 40 youths across DeKalb County graduated and received the Presidential Active Lifestyle ward.
